Ground Vision
To vividly show the flow of events running up to the Battle of Sekigahara and the scale of the battle, a screen was installed on the floor surface. While looking down at the screen, focus on the outcome of this battle which effected the whole of Japan.
Theater
The oval-shaped, 360-degree screen, 4.5 m in length and 13 m wide, is a sight to behold. With its wind, vibrations, and light and sound, it recreates the Battle of Sekigahara with a visceral sense of presence.
Regional Sightseeing Information Corner
This corner provides pamphlets useful for touring the battleground and historical sites as well as information about tourist facilities in the Sekigahara Town area. Please visit here if you wish to hire a bicycle or book a Sekigahara historical site guide.
2nd Floor
Exhibition Room
This room introduces the Battle of Sekigahara from its outset to conclusion with the aid of real tangible materials. It also exhibits how the story of the Battle of Sekigahara has been told since the Edo period and introduces the history of historic site conservation.
Sengoku Experience Corner
Visitors can touch weapons just like the originals, and enjoy photo opportunities while wearing armor and getting completely into the role of a warrior. The VR attraction is also recommended.
3rd Floor / 5th Floor
Seminar Room(3rd Floor)
This room acts as a venue for lectures and workshops.
Observation Room(5th Floor)
Visitors can get a panoramic view of modern-day Sekigahara from the 360-degree, glass sided Observation Room. After enjoying the view superimposed on the scenery at the time of the battle, please step out to take a tour of the historic battlefield.
